Our commitment to our fellow dancers:

Be kind, friendly, safe, welcoming & have fun!

Hatred, racism, bigotry, sexism, and homophobia hurts.

It hurts our dancers and our community. When we exclude others we hurt ourselves and are not able to grow and change. We do not pretend to know all the answers. We acknowledge the painful history of our dance hall and the many other affronts, offenses, and injuries that are present in our community. Growing and changing is not easy work.

Our Board is committed to showing kindness to everyone while learning more and expanding our understanding of our folk roots and how we fall short so we can grow to a more inclusive and accepting community.  The links below are a selection of some resources on this subject. We invite you to join us on this journey.
